About DrivePath Safety

A free website that explains, in plain language, how to look after the safety parts of a car: tires, brakes, lights, wipers and glass, steering and suspension, fluids and the battery. You can also sign up for occasional safety tips by text.

No. DrivePath does not inspect, repair or sell anything, and it is not connected to any vehicle maker, dealer or parts seller. For anything about your own car, talk to a qualified technician.

No. The site names no shops, brands or products, takes no money from any of them and does not pass anyone’s details on.

No. Reading the site, using the trip checklist and receiving texts are all free. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to texts.

Using the guides

No. They help you notice changes and describe them clearly. Only a technician who has looked at the car can say what is causing something.

The basics apply to most cars, but details differ by make and model. Your owner’s manual is the authority on pressures, fluids and schedules for your own car.

No. It runs entirely in your browser, sends nothing and stores nothing. Print it or tick it off on screen; closing the page clears it.

All of them matter, but tire pressure and lights are quick, free and easy to forget. They are a good place to start a monthly habit.

Safety tips by text

No. Everything on the site is available without signing up, and the text message box on every form is optional.

Reply STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. A phone call or an email to us works too.

No. Your mobile number and your consent stay with DrivePath and are never sold, rented or shared with third parties for their marketing.
